Travel to remote destinations and participation in fishing, boating, and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to weather conditions, sea state, equipment issues, wildlife encounters, and limited access to medical services. By booking travel through Fishing with Larry, guests acknowledge and accept these risks.
Fishing with Larry is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by weather, airline schedules, mechanical issues, government actions, natural events, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Prices, schedules, and availability are subject to change until a deposit is received. Rates may change due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, supplier adjustments, or government fees.
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and lost or delayed baggage.
Additional terms, conditions, and liability waivers may be required by service providers prior to travel and participation.
Remote Location & Medical Access
Christmas Island is an extremely remote destination with limited medical facilities. In the event of a serious illness or injury, access to advanced or modern medical care may require evacuation by private aircraft, which may not be immediately available and can involve significant expense.
Medical Responsibility & Emergency Evacuation
Guests are responsible for all costs associated with medical treatment and emergency evacuation. For this reason, we strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical and evacuation coverage. Some guests choose to obtain additional emergency assistance coverage, such as a Global Rescue membership, which may provide evacuation and coordination services in the event of a medical emergency.
